On The TrainTake a virtual business trip to find out what you need to know and do.
On the train
Before leaving home, ensure you have a face covering as this is now required on public transport by law. You could also carry hand sanitiser and wipes.
Be mindful of travel times
Travellers are being encouraged to travel off-peak wherever possible and only travel on public transport when absolutely necessary. Check your journey for updated schedules before travelleing.
Pre-book where possible
Rail travellers are encouraged to book online, reserve seats and use contactless payment methods wherever possible.
Face coverings are now mandatory on public transport from entering the departure station to exiting at the other end and on the tube, trams and buses. Find out more in our face masks FAQ post.
Maintain social distancing
Always try to maintain the recommended 2 metres from staff and other passengers.
